Man Charged With Manslaughter After Tibshelf Man Dies Following Fight

A man has been charged with manslaughter after another man died following an altercation near an industrial estate in Tibshelf.

At around 5pm on Friday, March 21st, a fight took place on land near an industrial estate on Sawpit Lane.

A 39-year-old man suffered serious head injuries and was taken to Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Royal Hospital. The man, Jacek Golubek was pronounced dead on the morning of Saturday, March 22nd.

Grzegorz Betleja, 29, of Alfreton Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, has been charged with manslaughter and will appear before magistrates in Chesterfield today, Monday, March 24th.
