ANUSHKA SHARMA TO PRODUCE AND STAR IN ACTION-THRILLER 'NH10'
Anushka Sharma is the latest Bollywood actress to turn producer for a film. While most actresses get into production only after they realize that nobody else will cast them, Anushka has taken this step at the peak of her career. The Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola actress will produce and star in an action- thriller titled NH10 which will be co-produced by Anurag Kashyap’s Phantom Films and Eros. As the title suggests, the film is based on a road trip that goes horribly wrong. Talking about her first venture as a producer, Anushka said, “I’m doubly thrilled about NH-10, as it’s a superb role and it also kick-starts this new phase in my film journey.”
Anushka is currently busy with Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet and she is very excited about teaming up with Phantom Films once again. Here’s hoping Anushka is more successful in her production venture than other actresses in the past.
